$33.92 - $44.80 per hour (DOQ), plus benefits
There is one opening with the Yakima County Public Services, Water Resource Division. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating the budgeting, cost estimating, design, permitting, construction and monitoring of the County’s flood control works and flood risk reduction projects. This position trains Water Resources Engineers, assists in new project development, leads projects with larger scope and financial accountability and assigns and monitors technical work of other Water Resources Engineers. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field and six years engineering experience including two years in surface water analysis and/or design; or an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Required: Current registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Washington.
