Position Responsibilities

Adjunct Instructor to assist with the management of and supervision of students in OCCT 717: Fieldwork I in Psychosocial Occupational Therapy during the Spring 2024 semester. The primary responsibilities of this position would be to guide students through the development of group planning and protocols and provide onsite FW I supervision. Additional responsibilities to be negotiated could include grading and providing feedback on students' session plans. This would be an excellent opportunity for a practitioner who desires more experience and interaction with students.

Required Qualifications
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure as an occupational therapist in Virginia
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
Preferred Qualifications
  • Practice and/or teaching experience in occupational therapy evaluation and intervention in mental health
  • Previous fieldwork supervision
Salary Range: $2,500
