Clinical Counselor
The University of Illinois Counseling Center is hiring two or more clinical counselors. The primary function of this position is to serve as a generalist for clinical service provision. A successful candidate will have solid experience and expertise in serving college student populations. There are openings for a generalist with strong demonstrated interest and experience in one or more of the following desired clinical and outreach areas on student concerns: Body Image and Eating Disturbances; International; Native American; Crisis/Triage Management; Middle-Eastern and North African Diaspora; and Latinx. Licensed and mid-career clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply.
Master’s in Social Work, or Doctorate in Clinical, Clinical/Community, Counseling Psychology, or related field is required; all post-degree supervision hours must be completed by start date. License in Illinois or license eligible background as a psychologist is required for candidates with a doctorate degree. Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois or license eligible background is required for master’s level degreed.
