Richfield Living has an excellent opportunity for a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator who is a servant leader that shares our passion of transitioning residents from a traditional nursing home model to a household model of care in a new skilled nursing facility. This new model of care will consist of four-19 bed households along with a 40 bed short term rehabilitation unit.
This leader will learn and understand the household model of care and person-centered initiatives. This culture of care honors the resident in making decisions to make their house a home. As the LNH Administrator embraces Richfield’s Mission, Vision and Values, they will lead the opening of our new 116 bed facility in Roanoke City. In August of 2020, this individual will assume the responsibility and support for the residents and team members who will be transitioning to the Roanoke City campus in April 2021. This candidate must embrace change while strategically and successfully leading the team into our household model of care.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage a short term rehab unit
- Understand PDPM with a focus on LOS
- Budget for cost efficiencies
- Ensure the highest level of quality outcomes
- Ensure family, resident and team satisfaction all with a focus on household model of care and person-centered initiatives
Required experience:
- · Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Virginia
- Resident centered approach to care
- Excellent customer service skills with residents, family and team members
- Strategic planning and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations, resulting in good survey outcomes
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills providing effective communication, listening skills and a hands on approach to providing the services needed to be the best in the industry
- Exemplify Richfield RISES as a leader on the campus and in the community
Preferred experience:
- Experience opening a new LTC/Rehab facility is a plus
- Experience working with the household model of care
