Part Time
Doctor of Medicine with a completion of an approved residency in psychiatry required. Board certified by American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry. Demonstrated past experience in community mental health with chronically mentally ill preferred.
License to practice medicine in Virginia. Board Certified. Residency in Psychiatry.
• Juvenile Drug Treatment Court –Therapist
Full Time
Master's Degree in the Behavioral Sciences and some clinical work experience in direct substance abuse therapy to the child and adolescent population. VA license as LCSW, LPC or LCP, or license-eligible
Valid VA driver's license.
• Therapists - Mental Health

Thorough knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of individuals with mental illness and related individual, group and family therapy and counseling techniques and practices; thorough knowledge of individual management guidelines for Virginia; good knowledge of office management practices; ability to establish and maintain rapport with the individual population; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and with private and public agency personnel; ability to function calmly in stressful situations; ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing; ability to maintain individual records. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency with computer systems. Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences with professional experience in direct therapy to the mentally ill and substance abusing populations, or combination of education and experience to produce required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Licensed as LCSW, LPC, or LCP. Valid Virginia Driver's License

• Mental Health Nurse, RN/LPN – PACT, MAT, Crisis Stabilization

Advanced knowledge of the principles, standards and practices related to psychiatric nursing; thorough knowledge of the theories and practices related to the care and treatment of adults with serious and persistent mental illness and individuals with co-occurring MH/SA disorders, including behavior management, independent living skills training, supportive counseling, family education, crisis intervention, discharge planning and service coordination; knowledge of nursing practices, pharmacology and the physiological and psychological effects of alcohol and drug use and withdrawal; Knowledge of the Board of Pharmacy and Board of Nursing regulations related to prescription drug storage, administration and documentation; knowledge of community resources, including service providers and entitlement eligibility criteria; effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills; skill in interviewing, observing recording and reporting on participants' functioning; ability to maintain documentation and use the agency's electronic health record; ability to work independently. Licensure in Virginia as a Registered Nurse and at least one year of experience working with persons with serious mental illness and/or substance abuse. Valid VA Driver's License.
