Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field of study. Or B.S./B.A. in a related field of study with work experience at a level which equates to a Master's degree.
- Considerable knowledge of leading educational technologies in current and emerging web design and development technologies as well as project management applications.
- Considerable knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices in the development and maintenance of accessible instructional materials.
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards for instructional material
- Proficient skills and demonstrated abilities in learning technologies including: Microsoft & Adobe products, and course management systems such as Canvas
- Some programming skill.
- Attention to detail and well-organized.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and publishing)
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Applicable certifications or higher education in areas such as accessibility, Quality Matters, and areas related to instructional technology.
- Considerable experience employing generally accepted learning theories, principles and practices for the instruction of students and adult learners either as an Instructional Technology Specialist or equivalent position.
- Considerable experience working with leading educational technologies in current and emerging web design and development technologies as well as project management applications.
- Considerable project management experience
- Considerable experience in various learning technology development and deployment tools.
- Prior working experience generating and maintaining technical support documentation for adult learners
- Prior working experience in developing engaging instructional activities such as scenario-based lessons, gaming, simulations, etc.
- Some knowledge of and experience working with leading educational technologies in current and emerging web design and development technologies as well as project management applications.
- Some knowledge of and experience working Articulate Rise and Storyline.
- Basic understanding of the theories, principles, and practices in the development and maintenance of accessible instructional materials.
- Comprehensive experience working as an instructional technology specialist.
- Project Management Professional certification.
