Program Coordinator
Program: Children's Health Improvement Partnership (CHIP) of the New River Valley and Parents as Teachers (PAT)
Location: 90 College St, Suite B, Christiansburg, VA 24073
Responsibilities:
The CHIP/PAT Coordinator is responsible for the total operation of the CHIP/PAT Program in the New River Valley. Ensures program and PAT compliance in keeping with funding regulation and agency policies. Writes funding applications. Provides staff support to the CHIP/PAT Advisory Council. Oversees core service delivery in accordance with CHIP of Virginia Standards of Quality. Serves as a liaison with funding sources, other agencies, and community groups.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field plus three years of related experience. Grant writing and supervisory experience preferred.
Status and Pay Information:
Full-time, exempt position. Minimum starting salary is $47,320, possibly more dependent upon qualifications, plus full benefits. Additional compensation for being bilingual (Spanish/English).
NRCA conducts pre-employment criminal background, child abuse and neglect, and driving record checks. Possession of a valid driver's license and good driving record required. Pre-employment drug testing, TB testing, and employment physical required.
