We are looking for an RN that can create a relationship with families to build their strengths and create meaningful change. Full-time and/or Part-time position available in Montgomery County for the nurses who became a nurse to make the world a better place.
Registered Nurse (Full-time or part-time positions available)
Program: Children's Health Improvement Partnership (CHIP) of New River Valley
Location: New River Valley
Responsibilities:
- Duties include case management services; health-focused home visits to pregnant women and families with children birth to 6 years enrolled in CHIP.
- Completes health assessments, case management of chronic illnesses & pregnant women, promotion of well-child care, and performance of developmental and health screenings.
- Ability to work effectively with clients of multi-cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
Education and Experience
Requirements: Must be a VA licensed Registered Nurse and have a minimum of an Associate's degree in nursing with at least one-year work experience in healthcare or community-based setting.
Status and Pay Information:
Minimum starting salary: $41,142 annually (may increase depending upon education and related qualifications), plus benefits for full-time positions. $19.78 per hour for part-time positions, benefits available for 25+ hours/week employees.
