About Massasoit Community College:

Massasoit currently offers 41 associate degree programs in arts, sciences, and applied sciences and 24 certificates. The College also offers non-credit workforce development certificates; corporate training courses; adult basic education; personal enrichment classes; and Early College programs for high school students.

Job Description:
The Director will play an integral role within the Institutional Advancement Office in leading programs, activities, and initiatives that enable Massasoit Community College to meet or exceed its annual fundraising goals while promoting the mission and strategic goals of the College. This individual will work with other members of the Advancement team to prospect, cultivate, and steward new and existing donors; administer the College's scholarship award program and assist with the securing of scholarship funding; and grow annual support through mailings and events.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and administer a robust annual giving program.
- Develop and administer a robust annual giving program.
- Plan, coordinate, and assist events, including golf tournaments, receptions, and galas.
- Develop and administer specialized programs such as planned giving, employee giving, online giving, stewardship, crowd funding, and other recognition programs as appropriate.
- Ensure effective maintenance of the College's Advancement database.
- Coordinate the entry and acknowledgment of all gifts that are received.
- Research and identify prospective major donors.
- Oversee the Advancement Office's social media and email marketing campaigns in coordination with the College's Office of Marketing and Communication.
- Serve as a trusted and responsive resource for alumni, friends, students, Foundation Board members, coworkers, and other constituencies.
- Assist with budget management, invoice processing, and tracking of office expenses.
- Work occasional nights and weekends for special events.
- Support the Foundation Board and its committees as needed.
- Other related duties as assigned by the Vice President of Institutional Advancement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience working in fundraising, marketing, sales, or other like industry
- Experience with database software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with higher education non-profit organizations
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- A passion for working with volunteers

Additional Information:
Position Status: Non-unit Professional, full-time state funded with benefits.
Hours: 37.5 per week, Occasional nights and weekends required for special events.
Salary: $77,207 - $100,367 (annually), commensurate with education and experience.
Worksite: Assignments will include all Massasoit sites and additional locations as necessary. This position may be eligible for telework in accordance in with the College's telework policy.
