Job Description | The Director of Social Media and Community Engagement is responsible for the coordination of the Universitys online social media and community outreach efforts. |
Required Qualifications | Bachelors degree; |
Preferred Qualifications | Video production and editing skills, working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Premiere, willingness to self-teach applicable skills, editing and proofreading capabilities, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, a philosophy of teamwork and hands on implementation, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to interact with all types of individuals, creativity and a willingness to experiment, flexibility in work schedule, including travel, weekends and evenings, professional appearance, and ability to maintain confidentiality. |

Job Duty | coordinate University-wide use of Twitter, Facebook and other social media outlets to ensure consistent messaging; |

Job Duty | work in concert with the Division of University Advancement and the Department of Information Services to enforce web policies and provide Pathway training and assistance; |

Job Duty | assist in development of new and emerging social networking presence for university entities; |

Job Duty | suggest best practices and campaigns for various departments on campus when necessary; |

Job Duty | research and analyze state-of-the art web services and new technology trends and applications; |

Job Duty | develops engagement activities which heighten the visibility, presence and position of LMU as an essential community resource; |
