Sr Manager, Strategic Partnerships
The Gannett Content Ventures and Reviewed team/reviewed.com, a part of the USA TODAY NETWORK, are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to manage and further develop the largest partnerships in our fast-growing e-commerce business.
As the Senior Partner Manager, you will use your strategic and operational talents to drive affiliate revenue growth and mutually beneficial outcomes across our portfolio of brands which includes USA TODAY, our network of local news sites as well as special interest sites that span sports, travel and our product recommendation site, Reviewed.
This is a multi-dimensional role and opportunity to work across all areas of the business, shaping our approach, owning responsibility for our performance and ensuring our best-in-class partners’ success.

Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of strategic, affiliate partner relationships including growing and optimizing our existing partnerships as well as assessing and shaping potential new partnerships.
- Developing and implement strategies to drive revenue growth through partnerships.
- Translating contracts and goals into project plans. Manage cross-functional and cross-company teams to achieve those plans. Be ready to problem-solve.
- Working with partners and internal stakeholders to translate performance goals into key, actionable and measurable activities.
- “Owning” these partnerships top to bottom.
- Tracking, analyzing and sharing business results and what’s driving those results so team members can achieve maximum engagement and revenue growth.
- Working with analytics and business partners to understand trends, garner insights, track the impact of myriad decisions and modify course as circumstances and opportunity call for it.
- Developing deep relationships across functions, teams and businesses including editorial, product, engineering, operations, business intelligence, SEO, legal, marketing and finance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in partnership marketing, account management, business or sales development.
- Experience managing relationships with best-in-class, growth-oriented brands.
- Comfortable leading conversations with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally.
- Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills and an abiding openness to change, and opportunity.
- Ability to think creatively and make independent decisions.
- Resourceful, clever, adaptable and ambitious for your portfolio.
- Strong verbal, written and relationship-building skills.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Teams, Slack.
- Entrepreneurial, growth mindset and goal driven.
- Fantastic interpersonal skills.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $68,400 and $161,000. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
