Deputy Clerk III - Audit/Personal Property Administrator
Full Time Deputy Clerk III Commissioner of the Revenue Franklin County's Commissioner of the Revenue (COR), seeks a Full Time Deputy Clerk III- Audit/Personal Property Administrator.
Duties: Assists COR with tasks and procedures relative to understanding business tax requirements; developing audit procedures and assisting citizens with VA State Tax returns; Estimated Tax returns and Personal Property Tax returns. Performs difficult skilled clerical and technical work serving as auditor in the operation(s) of the Office of the COR. Detail oriented and able to make arithmetical calculations with excellent communication and customer service skills required. Associates degree with 3-5 year's business office experience in a government entity with tax preparation experience preferred. Annual Salary 33K/DOQE, excellent Full Time benefits.
