Dining Services Technician Salad Prep/Baker 10-Month Position
Ferrum College has an immediate opening for a qualified Salad Prep/Baker. Must be able to bake cakes from scratch, pies, cookies, brownies, and other sweet goods in large quantities on a daily basis. Experience in specialty desserts and/or breads is a plus. Must be familiar with sanitation requirements, safety and health regulations. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift/carry up to 50 pounds occasionally and 10-25 pounds frequently and be able to stoop, bend and squat. Must have excellent customer service skills. This is a 10 month, full time, 40-hour week position which will require some weekend and occasional overtime work. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Background check required.
