Dining Services Cashier
Seasonal Position Ferrum College has an opening for Dining Services Cashier. Responsibilities include but not limited to processing employee and student ID cards for meals, cash deposits, debit and credit card entries, department charges, balancing the cash drawer at the end of the shift. This person must comply with all health department, safety, and Ferrum College and Dining Services rules and policies. The person filling this position will typically work 32 hours per week while classes are in session (29 weeks a year) and may require some scheduling flexibility. The position does not provide benefits. Candidates must have very good customer service skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, knowledge of a POS system, the ability to learn and use other college software, professional dress and attitude, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
